Welcome to the
Path of Light—
the epic coming-of-age graphic novel series set in a hip-hop inspired fantasy world.

The Story
What if humanity could wield light as a weapon against darkness?
Over 1,000 years ago, the Father of Lights gave humanity a divine gift—precious gemstones known as prisms that enabled them to harness the power of light.
Not long after, a malcontent scientist conducted forbidden research and created the Abaddons, powerful shadow creatures who would do his bidding.
With the threat of war looming over the land of Nahara, the Father of Lights assembled the Shadow Boxers, an elite team of prism-wielding Light Bearers who would defend humanity and seal the darkness away...for a time.
In present-day Nahara, our thrill-seeking teenage protagonist Jayvn must finally accept his destiny when an Abaddon—long-thought to be extinct—abducts his father, a world leader and head of the Shadow Boxers.
Aided by some unlikely friends, Jayvn must now travel the world to train in the art of shadow boxing—but will he be able to complete his training in time to save not only his father, but also all of Nahara from an age of darkness?

Characters

The World of Nahara

Prisms
In the world of Shadow Boxers, some are born with the potential to manipulate the different colors of the visible light spectrum. Using special prisms, these Light Bearers can use light to create force fields, heal, defy gravity, generate illusions, and even teleport.
Regions
Over time, the supercontinent of Nahara became divided into seven unique cultural zones, known as regions, based on each of the prism colors. Each region is governed by the powerful, high-ranking Shadow Boxers that form the Council in Shiloh, the capital region of Nahara.
The Champion
The leader of the Council and all the Shadow Boxers is known as the Champion, who wields the White Prism. This object is the single most valuable, most important artifact in all of Nahara. Because of its great power, it can only be wielded by members of the ruling House of Urias — in this case, Aasim, Jayvn’s father.
